Susan is an artist working in a variety of media who spends her time between South West France and England. She has painted for many decades since completing her studies, but has only been able to commit to a full time career as an artist since 2015. She works in a variety of materials to make work based largely, but not exclusively, on the landscapes which surround her in Gascogny. Working mainly ‘plein air’, she captures the quiet beauty and changing moods of the countryside and the natural world as the seasons come and go. She also loves to work on still life paintings in a variety of media. More recently she has completed a series of figurative works in both oil, acrylics and charcoal on paper. Susan had her first solo exhibition in July 2021.

Susan est une artiste peintre qui travaille avec la peinture à l'huile et acylique et qui passe son temps entre le sud ouest de la France et l’Angleterre. Elle travaille principalement en plein air et essaie de capturer l’esprit changeant du paysage et du monde naturel au fil des saisons.
